Introduction:
The language-specific banner feature in the Social27 event platform allows event planners to provide a personalized experience for attendees based on their preferred language. With this feature, planners can upload distinct banners for different languages, ensuring that attendees see banners that are not only translated but also culturally relevant. This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to utilize the language-specific banner feature to enhance the visual appeal and engagement of your event website.
Steps to Upload Language-Specific Banners:
Log in to the Backend Tool:
Start by logging in to the Social27 backend tool using your administrative credentials.
Access Event Pages:
Once logged in, access the event pages one by one from the left navigation panel. This allows you to manage and customize the banners for each page separately.
Edit the Banner Component:
On each event page, locate the banner component. This is the area where the banner image is displayed. Click on the banner component to edit it.
Select Preferred Language:
Within the banner component's editing interface, locate the language drop-down menu. This menu enables you to select the language for which you're uploading the banner. Attendees who choose this language will see the corresponding banner on the page.
Upload the Banner:
Once you've selected the language, proceed to upload the banner image for that specific language. The banner should be appropriately designed to match the event's branding and should feature text that aligns with the selected language.
Save Your Changes:
After uploading the banner, make sure to save your changes within the banner component editing interface.
Important Note:
If you choose not to upload banners for all enabled languages, the platform will display the banner associated with the default language selection from the basic settings of the event.
Tips for Effective Use:
- Ensure that the uploaded banners are of suitable dimensions and resolution to maintain visual quality on different devices.
- Make use of culturally relevant imagery and text to resonate with attendees from various language backgrounds.
