Introduction:
The ability to display sessions on a custom page in the Social27 event platform provides organizers with greater flexibility in presenting session content. This feature is especially beneficial when you want to showcase sessions outside the default session page, create a unique layout for sessions, or highlight on-demand sessions separately. This article outlines the step-by-step process of displaying sessions on a custom page within the Social27 backend tool.
Steps to Display Sessions on a Custom Page:
Log in to the Backend Tool:
Start by logging in to the Social27 backend tool using your administrative credentials.
Access the Event Designer:
After logging in, navigate to the event setup options. This can usually be found in a drop-down menu at the top of the backend interface. Select the "Event Designer" option to access the customization tools.
Add a Custom Page:
Within the Event Designer, use the left navigation menu to locate and click the plus (+) sign to add a new custom page for your sessions. This custom page will allow you to display sessions in a unique way.
Select the Custom Page:
Once you've added the custom page, you should see it listed in the navigation menu on the left. Click on the name of the custom page to access its settings.
Edit the Custom Page:
After selecting the custom page, you'll find options to edit its content and layout. Click on the ellipsis (three dots) next to the custom page's name and choose the "Edit" option.
Add Session Component:
Inside the page editor, position your cursor between existing components or at the desired location where you want to display sessions. Click the "Add Component" option to add a new component to the custom page.
Select the Session Component:
A list of available components will be displayed. From this list, choose the "Session Component." This component is specifically designed to display session information.
Configure the Session Component:
Once you've added the session component to the custom page, you'll be prompted to configure it. This might include selecting the specific sessions you want to display, customizing their layout, and adjusting any settings related to the component's appearance.
Save Changes:
After configuring the session component, make sure to save the changes you've made to the custom page.
