Building connections and networking have become even more accessible with the recent update on Social27. Now, when you click the 'Connect' button on someone's profile, it initiates a connection request. Once the other person accepts your request, you'll have successfully added them to your list of connections. This streamlined process enhances your networking experience. Let's walk through the steps to connect with others and manage connection requests.
Walkthrough Video:
Step 1: Initiating a Connection
- Locate the 'Connect' Button: To begin connecting with fellow attendees, you can find the 'Connect' button on both the Networking Lounge page and attendee profiles.
- Click 'Connect': When you come across an attendee you'd like to connect with, simply click the 'Connect' button on their profile. This action sends them a connection request.
Step 2: Accepting or Declining Connection Requests
- Receiving a Request: If someone sends you a connection request, you'll receive a notification alerting you to their request.
- Accept or Decline: To manage connection requests, go to your profile and click on the 'Connections' tab. Here, you'll find a list of all attendees who have sent you connection requests.
- Accept Request: To accept a connection request, click 'Accept.' Once the other person confirms, they will become part of your network, and you will be part of theirs.
- Decline Request: If you choose to decline a request, click 'Decline.' This action will remove the request, and you won't relate to that person.
Managing Your Connections
- View Your Connections: To see a list of all your connections, visit the 'Connections' tab in your profile. Here, you can easily access their profiles.
- Engage with Connections: Once connected, you can start a chat, set up a Roundtable discussion, or unfollow a connection directly from your 'Connections' tab.
Social27's new approach to connections simplifies the process, ensuring that your network remains focused on valuable connections. Enhance your networking experience by following these steps and make the most of your time on the platform.
Note: When attendees or participants are added to the team's meeting, they are added to the event and displayed in the Attendee directory.
